We have reluctantly decided to sell our camper van which we have owned for the last 4 years, it has been both my daily transport and our holiday home. It is a 1972 (Tax exempt) tin-top converted panel van in VW Aquarius Blue and cream. It has a type4 2L engine, which is original to this year of van.
The engine is stock with standard carbs (refurbished 18 months ago) and all tin-ware in place the only mod is a Pertronix electronic ignition. The cabin heater fan works a treat for a nice toasty cab with pretty impressive defrosting on those chilly mornings.

The front has been lowered using Transporterhause spindles and coil over shocks, the rear has been dropped 1 spline to balance out the ride and has GAZ adjustable shocks. I still have the original spindles if you fancy taking her back to stock (about a days work). It has 185/55s on the rear and 175/65s on the front (correctly load rated) fitted to BRMs. It has servo assisted front disk brakes and Goodridge hoses to make them work even better.

The cabin is very tidy with lovely original condition, dash, seat covers and door cards, the only modification has been a rev counter placed in the vacant clock position. It has an Empi trigger shifter which gives it a nice quick gear change. There is a Sony CD player (with USB) which also has a handy remote control. There are hammock brackets in the front and the hammock will also be included in the sale. We also have a retro drive-away awning available separately, if required.

There is a sink and propane cooker (with grill) in the front cupboards with plenty of storage beneath. The rear seat (lost of storage under) can be converted into a bed and has a single lap belt. There is also a side cupboard and drawer where we store all the necessary van bits n bobs.

Mechanically it has had lots done: new brake callipers, pads and pistons all round, and also 2 new rear brake backing-plates, new headlights with halogen bulbs. It also has all new universal joints and wheel bearings, and a very heavy duty leisure battery. The underside is very solid and is in great condition, I under sealed it when we bought it and have kept it all nice and clean ever since.

All in all an honest clean van with plenty of potential if you want to personalise the interior, but we have used it very successfully on many a happy camping trip over the last 4 years. It has 12 months MOT and fully taxed for the year (as it’s free!)

I’m looking for £9250 ONO. The van is located in south Manchester where you are most welcome to come and have a look. Please call me on 07805 169 846 (evenings preferred) if you require any more information or to arrange a viewing.

Here we have my beloved cooler than eskimo pee Mk 1 Jetta, its been my daily for the past 6 months but alas the missues doesnt like the old skool feel! and I need to feed my aircoooled habit

Its super straight and super soild, with a fresh 12 month ticket and no cautions. with 5.5 months tax on it and is ready to go!

she is slammed on adjustable coilovers on original banded steels with stretch rubber! I believe the back is 8.5 j and the front 6 J its drives real straight and handles like on rails!! the height has been honed over the past 8 months to cope with basingstokes numerous round abouts and speed bumps but she can go lower..... a lot lower!!

running a sweet 1300cc and a 4 speed box its a nippy little classic that needs nothing to be a head turner.. the car draws some awsome attention not only for its age but its amazing condition

the engine bay is partialy smoothed out with the battery being relocated in the boot (even then the boot is huge, I can still get my full bouncer mtn bike in there with the wheels off!!)

apart from the at the rest of the car is original the original stereo ( there is an ipod amp and 80's style box speakers on the shelf as the 80's AM tuner is a bit patchy in these modern times) the original interior is still there though a bit patched up but its 29 years old! I didnt want to loose the character of the orginal interior.

though not a full service history there is loads of history with the car including the original manual, and delivery note, a rake of tax disks and mot's aswell as numerous receipts! this car has wanted for nothing!! Its been polished most weeks and still looks amazing even with the few little marks it has. There is a couple of little rust patches that have rust remedy'd and laquer sealed to save work on the original paint work for 2 minor blemishes

I would be intrested in a PX /swap with a working aircooled engine 1641+ feeding an aircooled habit has become the main reason for selling

I have this advertised elsewhere and will answer any questions you may have, coming to veiw the car may be the best selling point so dont hesitate! The car is usually garaged and well looked after! time to grab yourself a cool VW intime for summer cruising!!

Hi up for sale is my 1966 Vespa Super 150 Project

The only reason im selling is because i have to many projects and I havent got the time to start another.
Ive owned this for 2 years and I would love to do it but I just dont have the time.

The frame is good expect the surronding bead is abit wobbly and the floor has a few holes as shown on the picture. The metal surronding the holes are good so would be an easy fix. The frame is clearly stamped *VBC1T* and the engine is also clearly stamped.
The engine is a 150cc. It has alittle ply in the main bearing and the rings could do with changing. It turns over well but I have never tried to run it.
All the items to do with the scooter are included in the sale. This includes 2 headstocks (one has the parts but key has been damaged the other is ready to have it transfered on to), front mudguard, Engine, frame, petrol tank, 1 side panel, Stand, both wheels and tyres.

Your more than welcome to come and see before you bid and please remember this is a PROJECT.

The fronts are 165/50/15 with Creative Weedeater beam & dropped spindles. I'm looking at raising a tad to allow for a little more rubber and movement in the shocks. Rears are 175/65/15 but need to go up to 185 I think.
