Got a 6 volt battery today, £80 which appears to be a good price for one, www.valleybatteries.co.uk keep various 6 volt items in stock and are only 10 mins drive from my office, winner!

Hopefully it'll be dry enough to get the bug out this weekend for a good polish, to see how bad the paint damage is most likely my own fault, as I vaguely remember (accidentally) shutting the cat in the garage one night before Christmas.

    Happy Easter y'all!

Not good bug news this weekend
Firstly rolled the car out of the garage to refit to OG wheels with new tyres to find that the battery won't charge anymore, so need to fork out for a 6 volt battery - how much!
Also discovered that the cat has been trapped in the garage at some point, and has seriously scratched a front wing!
Little b'stard, I almost put the cat in the bin...

    I'll go hunting for Luvadubdub

Not been on VZi much lately, work has taken over my life, hoping things will calm down a bit now.

Rob E, a '67 forum would be cool, I just don't know if we would get enough traffic?

Mines ready to roll, I need to get it out of the garage and refit my correct wheels, which were removed before Christmas for new tyres. Good luck with the MOT!

Mines fully road legal, I just can't get to it because of the motorbike covered in IT junk and the builder has blocked access to the garage for the last couple of months! Driveway should be cleared this weekend so hopefully the old girl will roll into the sunlight soon Demolished my old shed this week so the builder could remove some nasty old concrete, as I was clearing the shed I found a load of 412 parts and a '67 bug engine lid that I'd forgot about.
