Chat / Discussion Kind of like a VW Club Online you can sit in our virtual pub and talk about whatever you want to. All opinions are valid, but no insulting (to more than our intelligence), abusive or libellous posts. Please feel free to post your opinion on any given subject, but also be aware that the other 7 billion inhabitants of this planet have the equal right to disagree with you - and some will certainly tell you so. No 'For Sale' or 'Want To Buy' ads, plugs for your 'business', links to 'for sale' ads or Ebay links to your (or your mate's) auction (use the VZi 'Classifieds' section) - this also includes thinly veiled 'What's My Car Worth?' threads too (please use the 'Dude! What's My Car Worth?' forum) . . . and please don't use JUST to post links to other VW Forums/websites - we are aware that other sites exist (obviously), but blatant 'plugs' (poaching) will simply be deleted.

Default 1973 36ft SPLIT SCREEN BUS

After carefull consideration and arrangements with the farmer about parking we picked up our new camper... well its new to us anyway....

It sleeps 5, has seating for 8 plus driver, we can carry a splitty or a beetle in the back{but not a bay as they are to high}, Ramsey winch, onboard water and waste water tanks, gas locker, wired for 240 volt with 4.5kva generator, toilet, 4 burner cooker and grill, sink and drainer, running water, flat screen tv with surround sound, digital box with aerial, dvd player, cd radio with 1600watt amp and speakers inc a 15inch sub
mot'd for 9 months and taxed for 6

If you were at bugjam, you probably saw this parked in the auto jumble area, we booked 4 plots between myself, Saul, Mike and shane and used the bus to carry all the second hand parts we had between us that were for sale.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Brian burrows for another fantastic show, we all had a great time... sorry but i was in the loo when you came and talked to Mike.

Considering the size of the thing and the amount we had on display i was suprised we didnt make it into the bugjam pictures thread.

Our previous vehicle was an optare bus and trailer...with a combined length of 42 ft, .. as this one is only 36ft long and we dont need a trailer with it ....its easier to drive, park and takes up less space in the autojumble area ... leaving more space for others.

we thought it would be a good idea

The back

This makes it so much easier than having a car transporter / trailer sticking out the back

The beds and table have been put away allowing more room
