Well here goes, hopefully a journey that will take me through the winter, with a lovely shiny bug to take me round the shows next year. Dont think this car will ever be a show winner (at least not on my budget, however if i can get her looking shiny with lots of lovely shiny bits then I'll be happy
Let me introduce Elizabeth or as my Missus has renamed her 'Betty' named after the original owner

Betty is a 1967 Lotus White 1300, 2 lady owners from new with a documented 64K and full service history. Fair to say she's been maintained but certainly hasn't been cherished. Overall she's solid as a rock, heater channels, spare wheel well, floorpan, framehead are all in great nick, there some surface rust, she's had a not brilliant respray and her interior is a bit shabby but nothing a bit of work and a splash of cash wont sort.
She's been bought as a 40th birthday pressie for myself as I've always wanted a Bug (Dad used to have them in the early 70s) and definately going for a modest Cal Look - although in the short term is likely to be 'all show and no go' as budget will limit enhancements in the engine bay!
