We wanted to give you an update on the reset password emails that went out yesterday. Due to the high volume of emails going out and some service providers blocking them as spam, users have either been getting them late, or not at all. If you have not received your password reset email please use the password reset function “forgot password”. These emails will go through a paid provider and should show up instantly.
To do so just go to log in >> once it redirects you click forgot password >> follow the steps provided.
If you do not remember the email address associated with your account you can use the contact us tab at the bottom of the page to email us for assistance. Please select the “other” option and add subject “security password issues”
We apologize for any disruption this has caused to your forum experience.

Readers RidesPost pics, specs and build-up stories of your vehicles here. Also interesting stuff about your 'daily drivers' etc. or even motors-based TV shows you can recommend. Please, no 'For Sale' or 'Want To Buy' ads, plugs for your 'business', links to 'for sale' ads or Ebay links to your (or your mate's) auction (use the VZi 'Classifieds' section) - this also includes thinly veiled 'What's My Car Worth?' threads and "Who Can Sell Me A . . ." posts.

"D" Is for Doris, my "66" ragtop beetle..one of the Geordie Dub Duo. featured in Flat4 (June-July 1997).
Originally restored back in the ninties, by Tommy Judd, This custom cal-looker.
Which was then bought by Adi who tidied it up in "99/00" stripped it back and resprayed it..
The pod, i'll have to check the yrs, must be around 02/03ish.
now she's all apart again, for a full resto, most of the hard work was done up in Durham by Adi and i think Duck helped abit... I think?
Then the chassis sat in the yard for a couple of yrs...Until now she's travelled 260 miles from the north-east to the south-east.
13th jan, the work has started to restore her back to being Fab! first the frame head was cut out and a new one welded in. then on went the floor pans, I think Adi was more Excited about his new welder and wanted to try it out... lol. sorry if its abit vage but I am a girl... Just needs abit more rubbing down then it's ready for Prima, stone chip and then paint,
Grinding back and cleaning up the frame head we discovered these whole, not to we knew there would be, as she'd been rested up the side of the house for the last 2 yrs. so I'd already bought a new panel.
I'm the one doing all the research and sourcing all the parts and panels. and paying for them... haha.
I need a Passager door and complete dash (cut from half way down the windscreen and half way up the door). but not having much luck at the mo..
Nice to finally see her again! Tommy is a good friend of mine. I remember when tommy did the special centre console with the speedo. is that still fitted?
Will be good to watch her progress. I think i have a photo of her when Tommy first got her and she was all black. If i can find it i will post it.
Centre console isn't there any more, it got broken when i took the shell off the pans, gonna change the car a lot but keep some of the original parts on the car, like the Geordie Bugrs rear window
