RE: Race cars, yes, provided they fit in with the stated requirements (type1/3 based, aircooled engines) it would be nice to see a few along. The reality is that not many will be coming along anyway, as there is a whole calendar of race events already.

RE: OUtlaws, there is an invite on the lounge, and the hope is from all involved in pulling the day together is that they take it up.

well it looks like the A.C.E people will be thrashing there cars to within an inch of there lives as we already have two full weekend rounds at york in may, but i'll be there......got mi tickets already
lets hope the motor puts up with the nailing its gonna get...eh daz

I did discuss this with Dazzer , and he did tell me you guys had a busy month , but we went with May as the probability of good weather is better than the date in June we had in mind .

If it rains most of June weekends like it did last year , we could be sat round for a month , so make the best of May I say .

If the event is successful , we'll do another one at the end of the year in August at the York ACE Bank Holiday meeting , as that's a good long weekend too .

oh i'm not moaning pete, were looking forward to it, its always hard to get a date that suits and may is as good as any and as you say the weather is usually good in may

I checked it out for jamie on the following site (me being sad and all!) if youre interested they do an annual trend for the weather and their confidence in it occurring...see the confidence for May 17th

although i suffer frm lackofcarphobia this jamie is the show most of us talk about no idiots just racing what could be better i'm goin to come sit in the stands and watch my bro and all my mates race go home smiling!!!!!
