Default Something interesting

Picked this up today with a little help from the Southern brother, have a feeling it needs a new clutch but otherwise it is mint.

So what is so different?...

A bad picture but genuine 44k km German built 1977 Japanese beetle. Only surface rust on it - mostly cause its been sat in the UK for six months.

Complete with sunroof

And some interesting things under the lid; 1.6 fuel injection engine with a cat.

And it goes on...

Accessory indicators

And the absolute winning point, which some of the observant might have noticed earlier, dealer fitted aircon!

All in all, very pleased, and its just as nice underneath. This car has never been welded. Just the interior has cracked from spending so long in the sun and a bit of paint fade. My better than barn find.

That looks brilliant.

Do you have any plans for it or are you keeping it stock?

I noticed you were selling off your other shell recently, Is the Geman Look project on hold then?
