This car has had an extensive restoration, no part has been left untouched.
It has been in dry storage for the last 18 years until nov 08.
the car was striped to a bare shell an completely restored, every component was either striped and restored or replaced with new.

engine: rebuilt by autocavan using a new block rebored to 1.9
fully ported and polished big valve head with high lift cam
bottum end and flywheel lightened and balanced
scat baffled sump chromed
rocker chromed
refurbished twin 45 delortos
seperate oil cooler
s/steel four branch manifold
apart from a few chrome parts everything else was either powder coated or painted gloss black.
sounds absolutely awsome.

chassis:
stripped bare with a complete restoration with a full bare metal repray inside and out in gleaming white, engine bay fully smoothed of all holes,
the underneath was striped to metal and recoated with stonegaurd,fuel tank prof refurbed painted gloss black front and rear arches were stonegaurd primed smoothed and painted white, all wings bonnet doors etc are genuine vw parts.
full safety devices rollcage powder coated gloss black.

suspension:
all parts,rear beam,antiroll bars, front hubs, lower arms,brake gaurds, carriers etc were stripped and powder coated gloss black then refitted with new bearings, bushes, cylinders, shoes, grooved discs, pads, gaiters,
also fitted with bagyard/bilstein air struts controled by tuk customs big valve four way air management, enabling full control of each strut with the flick of a switch, full height to slammed in 2 seconds

wheels:BBS RS split rims in white with polished faces and lips, new dunlop 165x40x15 tyres on a 7j giving just the right amount of stretch

interior:
standard 77 rocco trim, tombstone seats double round clocks only showing 88k miles
back seats removed now houses airride tank colour coded with braided lines connected to twin viair pumps and custom airvalve instalation covering the battery in the wheel well.

theres probably bits ive missed this car needs to be seen to be appreciated, its had several offers for magazine features but as yet not been in any,
